Meet Holly Wood-Burgess
Holly is an enthusiastic lawyer who was admitted to legal practice in November 2024. She studied both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Studies at Deakin University, Geelong. Holly volunteered with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre for more than a year before joining the Farrell Rose team.
Holly takes a kind and empathetic approach to all client interactions. She is passionate about refugee advocacy and protection visa work. Holly knew since she was 16 that she wanted to be a refugee and immigration lawyer, so she could give people a chance to be heard and afforded safety in Australia.
Holly also enjoys working on partner visa applications. She has experience drafting statutory declarations and legal submissions for a wide range of visa subclasses. Her favourite part of any day is meeting with clients to help them share their life stories. She is a kind, yet passionate advocate for all clients she engages with.
